We wanted to let you know we are grieving.
Our current editorial board member and one of the original founders of Seeing Red Nebraska suddenly suffered one of life’s most terrifying losses when her husband was killed in a car accident.
Ben was a friend to many of us, and one of our biggest supporters from the very beginning. It was in his family’s home where we conceived of Seeing Red Nebraska, and around their dining table where we began to build this community. He was arguably our biggest cheerleader.
He was also a tireless activist for the aging and the vulnerable in Nebraska. He consistently gave of his time and efforts to make our communities better for anyone he could. He would always show up.
We are devastated by this loss.
